Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Leading Hand to support various new and ongoing projects throughout North Queensland. This individual will collaborate closely with the Foreman to ensure construction progresses according to schedule, complies with drawings and specifications, and adheres to strict health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Promoting a Zero Harm safety culture is paramount, ensuring exceptional project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Foreman to monitor and drive construction progress in alignment with project programs and specifications.
• Uphold safety as the top priority, leading efforts to maintain a Zero Harm working environment.
• Ensure projects meet quality, environmental, and health and safety standards.

Candidate Profile

• Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental regulations.
• Proven capability to inspire and foster a team culture focused on achieving client goals.
• Strong people and performance management skills overseeing labour, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain high-performing teams.
• Hands-on experience supervising commercial-scale landscaping projects.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Previous involvement in hardscape and softscape projects is highly desirable.
