Land Surveyor

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join a project based in Qatar. The selected individual will be tasked with performing precise land and construction surveying activities, including setting out sites, taking measurements, and verifying coordinates and levels in line with approved blueprints and project specifications.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related disciplines.
• Preferred qualifications include BSc, BEng, or BA or equivalent degrees.

Experience Requirements

• Total professional experience of at least 10 years.
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience specifically in land surveying and construction projects.
• Experience with large-scale construction, infrastructure, building, or development projects is advantageous.
• Prior experience on Qatar or broader GCC projects will be considered an asset.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform land, topographical, and construction surveys necessary for the project.
• Execute precise setting-out for structures, roadways, utilities, landscaping, and other construction endeavors.
• Set up and validate benchmarks, coordinates, levels, and reference points.
• Conduct site measurements and cross-verify dimensions against approved designs.
• Operate surveying tools such as Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and other equipment.
• Document and maintain survey data, including field notes, calculations, and reports.
• Assess and verify construction work compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Identify any inconsistencies between site conditions and design plans and report them accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with teams in civil, architectural, landscape, and various engineering disciplines.
• Deliver accurate surveying information to support construction and engineering functions.
• Ensure all surveying practices adhere strictly to project quality, specification, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
