Land Surveyor - Construction

About the Role

A Land Surveyor plays a vital role in delivering accurate field measurements, establishing construction benchmarks, and generating topographic representations for infrastructure and building projects. This position ensures all surveying activities align with Dubai Municipality (DM) and Road and Transport Authority (RTA) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute field surveys, generate topographic maps, and perform geodetic computations.
• Precisely set horizontal and vertical control markers, including lines and levels essential for construction phases.
• Analyze survey data and compile comprehensive maps, sketches, formal reports, and as-built drawings utilizing tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Adhere strictly to regulatory standards imposed by DM and RTA authorities.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate advanced surveying instruments like Total Stations, GPS devices, and Levels.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, builders, and engineering teams to confirm measurements and address any inconsistencies.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Holds a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Possesses extensive experience ranging from 8 to over 12 years specifically in land surveying within the construction sector, focusing on high-rise developments.
• Demonstrates proficient technical skills with GPS, Total Station instruments, and CAD software packages.
• Has a strong understanding of local UAE governmental protocols and property legislation.
• A valid UAE driving license is typically favored.
