Kubernetes Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Engineer with strong expertise in cloud environments, particularly Azure and/or AWS. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, container operations, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code for production-grade environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Kubernetes clusters including workload deployment, role-based access control (RBAC), ingress management, secrets handling, and ensure smooth production operations.
• Utilize GitOps tools such as Flux CD and/or Argo CD for automating deployment processes and promoting changes across environments.
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions focusing on release workflows, rollback strategies, and Git-based engineering methods.
• Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform with expertise in reusable modules, state handling, and environment-specific provisioning.
• Work with Crossplane technologies, understanding control plane concepts, building compositions, claims, and leveraging platform APIs.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms, including cloud networking, identity management, security, and governance.
• Expertise in GitOps deployment automation utilizing Flux CD and/or Argo CD.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions.
• Advanced skills in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Working knowledge of Crossplane and related cloud-native infrastructure concepts.
