Kitchen Utility Person - Full Time

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Full Time Kitchen Utility Persons to join our team on the beautiful Island of Hawaii, sharing the aloha spirit and contributing to an exceptional guest experience at King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard By Marriott. This position involves performing general and specialized cleaning duties, assisting in food service and storage, and supporting banquet and luau operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Always maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous attitude while delivering personalized guest service.
• Effectively communicate with guests and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean and upkeep food and beverage storage, preparation, and service areas, ensuring all china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and utensils are sanitary.
• Help with proper food storage methods and rotate stock as necessary.
• Transport food items and dishes to banquet, luau areas and guest tables efficiently.
• Complete routine tasks with minimal supervision and provide assistance to other departments as needed.
• Perform additional job duties assigned by management and adapt as required.

Requirements

• Preferred at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational credential.
• MUST possess a valid TB clearance card.
• Ability to communicate well in English; bilingual candidates are welcome.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills with sound judgment capabilities.
• Reliability, excellent team relations, and dependability are essential traits.

Compensation and Benefits
