Role Overview

The Kitchen Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of all kitchen equipment across the property to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime. This role involves routine maintenance, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with engineering management.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance on kitchen equipment under engineering management guidance to ensure minimal downtime and good working order.
• Adhere strictly to fire and safety protocols set by the company.
• Support and enhance engineering services addressing issues impacting guests and staff.
• Provide training and skill sharing to colleagues, aiding their development and advancing personal expertise.
• Work towards becoming an independent mechanic capable of problem analysis and formulating high-quality solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness in the engineering department and work area at all times.
• Be knowledgeable of gas systems and associated safety measures.
• Coordinate with Supervisors to ensure availability of materials, tools, and supplies, including follow-up on back-ordered items.
• Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and proper manner.
• Keep the Manager regularly updated on progress and assignments.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.
