Position Overview

The Kitchen Support Expert is a vital contributor within hotel operations, assisting various departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and employee dining. The role focuses on supporting cleaning activities and fundamental kitchen preparation tasks to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Duties

• Prepare fresh, clean linens and ensure dining ware is spotless for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines and hand wash stations.
• Transport dishware and related items throughout the hotel premises.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety, security, and operational policies; report any maintenance issues, workplace injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly to management.
• Complete mandatory safety training and hold relevant certifications as required.
• Maintain professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of company information.
• Greet and acknowledge guests according to company service standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
• Develop cooperative working relationships and support team efforts to meet common objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, bending, twisting, and handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Carry out additional reasonable tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• No formal education such as high school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• No prior related work experience necessary.
• No supervisory background required.
• No licenses or certifications needed to qualify.
