Role Overview

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential part of maintaining the smooth functioning of our bustling kitchen environment. Your efforts ensure chefs are well supported, enabling them to craft outstanding meals daily for a large number of guests. This position demands energy, reliability, and a cooperative spirit within the kitchen team.

Key Duties

• Regularly clean and sanitize cutlery, dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils to uphold hygiene standards.
• Handle the physical demands of a fast-moving kitchen environment efficiently while managing time effectively.
• Ensure waste is properly segregated, supporting recycling initiatives and good waste management practices.
• Adhere strictly to HACCP standards and food hygiene regulations to maintain kitchen safety.
• Assist chefs by preparing food ingredients such as peeling and chopping vegetables when necessary.

Working Hours & Schedule

• Full-time engagement totaling 40 hours weekly.
• Consistent shift patterns without split shifts.
• Shift timings include 7:30am to 4:00pm and 2:00pm to 10:30pm.
• Work five days a week, including weekends and bank holidays on a rotating basis.
