Role Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspection, upkeep, and repairs on commercial kitchen equipment, including cooking ranges, ovens, steamers, and fryers.
• Maintain proper functioning of cold storage units such as walk-in chillers and freezers.
• Service dishwashers and various food preparation machines to guarantee optimal performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laundry machinery like industrial washers, dryers, flatwork ironers, steam boilers, and pressing equipment.
• Identify and resolve electrical, gas, and mechanical malfunctions effectively.
• Implement preventive maintenance plans to avoid equipment downtime.
• Monitor and regulate steam pressure and temperature control systems.
• Adhere strictly to hotel safety protocols and fire prevention standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Housekeeping Manager to coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Ensure that operational equipment experiences minimal interruptions.

Candidate Requirements

• Holds a technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering.
• Possesses between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience within hotels, resorts, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with gas and steam systems as well as electrical wiring is essential.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Basic understanding of safety standards, including HACCP compliance.
