Job description
About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant at Sprout & Co, you will be crucial to maintaining a clean, well-organised, and safe kitchen environment that supports daily operations efficiently.
Key Duties
- Ensure the kitchen remains spotless by regularly cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floors, sinks, equipment, and utensils.
- Carefully clean and maintain kitchen equipment following proper procedures and ensure safe and orderly storage.
- Keep work areas tidy and organized, managing stock storage appropriately throughout shifts.
- Assist the food preparation team with basic tasks such as washing and prepping ingredients and setting up the kitchen when time allows.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, allergen, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.
- Proactively complete cleaning checklists and address tasks independently without needing prompts.
- Provide support to the kitchen and wider restaurant team during busy periods as required.

Experience & Training
No prior kitchen experience is needed, as full training will be provided. What counts most is a willingness to learn and comfort with hands-on, physical work while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Additional Information
This position reports to the Restaurant Leader and offers full-time and part-time contracts. The role is based on-site in Dublin, Ireland.
