Job description
Role Overview
The success of our kitchen depends greatly on maintaining an immaculate, orderly, and prepared environment. As a Kitchen Assistant, your contributions will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of daily kitchen activities. Your tasks will include cleaning dishes and equipment, maintaining organization, assisting with basic food preparation, and upholding kitchen safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen including sanitizing surfaces, floors, sinks, and utensils regularly.
- Properly clean kitchen tools and equipment following established procedures and ensure they are safely stored.
- Keep the kitchen and storage areas tidy and organized for efficient workflow.
- Support the food preparation team by washing and prepping ingredients and helping set up the kitchen.
- Follow daily cleaning checklists and proactively complete tasks without waiting for instructions.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, allergen controls, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
- Assist other kitchen and restaurant staff during peak times to ensure smooth operations.

Experience and Training
No previous kitchen experience is necessary as full training will be provided. Essential qualities are readiness to learn, physical stamina for hands-on labor, and pride in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.

- Contract type: Options for full-time and part-time available.
- Compensation: Hourly wage ranges from €14.15 to €14.50 depending on experience and role.
