Job description
Position Overview
Belgravia Leisure invites applications for a Kiosk Attendant at the Bathurst Aquatic Centre in Bathurst, NSW. This full-time onsite position offers an excellent chance for enthusiastic individuals who excel in customer service to contribute to a vibrant community space.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service consistently to all patrons.
- Maintain the attractive and clean presentation of the kiosk and café area.
- Restock condiments and supplies promptly as needed.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.
- Handle cashier duties including order taking and cash transactions efficiently.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems with sound cash handling practices.
- Promote the centre's diverse services and programs to patrons.
- Foster positive interactions and establish strong relationships with customers.
- Provide detailed product information, emphasizing healthy food options.
- Adapt to varying work schedules including mornings, evenings, and weekends; be prepared for increased hours during peak periods.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Exhibit a positive, friendly, and energetic approach to work.
- Possess barista and coffee making skills.
- Hold a valid Food Handling Certificate.
- Have current Workplace First Aid Level 2 and CPR certifications.
- Maintain Police Check and Working with Children Check clearances.
- Demonstrate flexibility during busy times at the centre.
Preferred Experience
While previous experience in a similar role is an asset, applicants with a strong customer service attitude and enthusiasm are encouraged to apply.
