Key Holder

About the Role

As a Key Holder at Boot Barn, you will engage customers, drive an outstanding in-store experience, and offer leadership and support to store associates. Your role includes embodying the company's core Mission, Vision, and Values through your behavior and actions while demonstrating sales and service skills, strong product knowledge, eye for visual merchandising, and proficiency in point-of-sale operations.

Working as part of the team, you will collaborate closely with the store leadership to help surpass sales targets, foster team growth, and support store operational activities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Promote a customer-focused and sales-driven environment, striving to surpass expectations and build lasting customer relationships.
• Develop and communicate expert insights about our product categories, including features and benefits.
• Achieve specific sales objectives such as increasing units per transaction, average transaction value, add-on sales, and customer data collection.
• Stay informed on current merchandise promotions and advertising efforts.
• Maintain company visual merchandising and store presentation standards; assist with floor moves, store displays, sales setups, and general housekeeping.
• Support merchandise processing and manage floor stock replenishment.
• Handle sales transactions accurately and maintain responsible cash and payment handling at POS systems.
• Seek continuous improvement by partnering with leadership to further develop skills and enhance performance metrics.
• Perform opening and closing store procedures in line with company standards and adhere to time and attendance policies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws alongside company policies and guidelines.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by management.
• Exemplify high standards for quality work, reliability, and professional appearance.
