Key Account Manager - Jeddah

About the Role

As a Key Account Manager at alfanar in Jeddah, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, ensuring their requirements are met promptly and in compliance with company quality standards. This role is integral to achieving sales targets within the Project Sales Department.

Core Responsibilities

• Respond proactively to client inquiries and provide solutions to maintain strong customer satisfaction and enduring business relationships.
• Proactively approach prospective customers to promote new products and suggest alternative solutions to assist in product selection.
• Maintain accurate client information through uploading relevant data into the Customer Relationship Management system (C4C).
• Submit product samples and necessary documentation to clients and track their approvals.
• Contribute ideas and strategies to boost sales performance.
• Stay informed about competitor activities, including new product launches, pricing strategies, and promotions, and communicate insights to the Project Sales Department.
• Provide weekly and monthly progress reports on sales activities.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on client quotations until approval is obtained.
• Participate in team meetings to ensure alignment and information sharing.
• Oversee collection processes in coordination with accounts for timely bank postings.

Leadership and HR Responsibilities

• Recruit, recognize, and nurture high-performing team members, fostering a strong second line of management.
• Identify underperforming staff and support their improvement or take appropriate measures.
• Maintain fair and equal treatment of all subordinates without discrimination.
• Evaluate team members based on performance aiming to meet planned objectives.
• Ensure clarity and availability of delegation of authority as per company policy.

Business Planning and Development

• Plan, execute, and monitor annual and development plans, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Provide periodic progress updates and manage budgets efficiently to maximize cost-effectiveness.
• Design and develop organizational structures responsive to current needs and future growth plans.
• Ensure job roles have clear descriptions and assignments.
• Develop and promote comprehensive written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking opportunities for automation and digital solutions.

Quality and Compliance

Academic and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required. Candidates should have 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience.
