Role Overview
The Junior Video Editor position is a full-time, on-site job located in Jaipur. This role entails transforming raw video footage into refined content tailored for social media, advertising, and other digital platforms. The editor will work alongside marketing and creative teams to grasp project needs, adhere to branding standards, and maintain visual consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage media files efficiently.
- Apply transitions, effects, and basic motion graphics including text overlays.
- Synchronize audio with video content accurately.
- Export finished videos in required formats.
- Contribute ideas during content brainstorming sessions.
- Incorporate feedback from senior team members.
- Maintain a smooth workflow to meet deadlines consistently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalents, plus foundational skills in motion graphics tools like After Effects.
- Understanding of video production principles including frame rate, aspect ratio, color correction, and audio editing.
- Keen visual storytelling ability with careful attention to pacing, composition, and continuity in edits.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media best practices, especially concerning short-form video formats.
- Good communication and team collaboration aptitude, open to feedback from editors and managers.
- Strong organizational skills for handling multiple assignments and maintaining project files in a dynamic setting.
- Preferred but not essential: education or certification in film, media, communications, design, or related disciplines.
- Experience through internships, projects, or a portfolio showcasing video editing work at an introductory level is advantageous.
