Role Summary

We seek a fresher Video Editor who will transform raw footage into polished, platform-specific videos including founder interviews, social media reels, LinkedIn content, event highlights, and investor-centric materials. You will collaborate closely with our videographer and content team to produce videos that uphold our brand identity and suit the viewing habits of different platforms. Content strategy and direction are provided by the founder and manager, so while you are not expected to create concepts independently, proactive contributions on new ideas, formats, or trends are valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video material into finished products suitable for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and internal/investor use.
• Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, captions, transitions, and background audio/music.
• Apply color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and polish.
• Synchronize audio, enhance sound quality, and balance audio levels for interviews and voiceovers.
• Coordinate with the videographer and content team to maintain the brand's voice and style across edits.
• Repurpose long-form videos into short-form clips optimized for different platform formats such as Reels and Shorts.
• Maintain an organized library of original and edited footage with proper version control.
• Deliver edits within set timelines and incorporate feedback promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mass Communication, Film Editing, Multimedia, or similar field, or an equivalent portfolio demonstrating skills.
• Familiarity with at least one editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, or CapCut.
• Possess a demo reel or portfolio showcasing previous edited work (academic, freelance, or personal projects).
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling techniques, and platform-specific video formats.
• Basic skills in color correction, audio syncing, and captioning.
• Detail-focused, organized, and adept at juggling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Available to work on-site in Bengaluru.
• Effective team player who can follow clear directions and deliver results consistently.
• Proactive approach comfortable suggesting innovative ideas, formats, or trends aligned with content strategy.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Basic abilities in motion graphics or animation, particularly using After Effects.
• Experience with Canva or similar tools for creating thumbnails and static graphics.
• Knowledge of YouTube/social media SEO and platform optimization strategies.
• Possession of a personal laptop capable of handling editing software.

Employment Terms

• Six-month probation period from joining date in accordance with market standards.
