Junior Site Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Junior Site Engineer to facilitate and oversee civil construction activities at our Panchkula site. This role involves close collaboration with senior engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure work adheres to technical drawings, quality standards, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction tasks and site operations.
• Ensure execution of work as per approved plans and specifications.
• Liaise effectively with contractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Track manpower deployment, material usage, and daily progress.
• Inspect construction materials and workmanship for quality assurance.
• Perform measurements, assist in Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, quantity estimations, and reporting.
• Maintain comprehensive daily progress logs and site documentation.
• Support senior engineers in planning and managing project execution.
• Identify, report, and help resolve site delays, deviations, and challenges.
• Optimize usage of materials and project resources.
• Adhere to and enforce site safety protocols and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely task completion.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years experience in site engineering, preferably in building construction.
• Fundamental understanding of Civil Engineering principles and construction methods.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity calculation techniques.
• Strong site supervision and contractor management skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.
• Effective problem-solving and time management aptitude.
• Readiness to travel to various project locations as needed.
