The Junior Prompt Engineer will contribute to developing the interface translating raw data into effective interactions with large language models to aid maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will focus on crafting specific, repeatable prompts that transform complex natural language questions into precise, structured answers usable by warehouse managers and technicians. Your role involves frequent testing of varied prompt versions to identify those with the highest accuracy when processing technical manuals and sensor data.

You will be responsible for self-managing your schedule, maintaining clear documentation, collaborating closely with developers to integrate prompts into software, and monitoring AI outputs to detect and prevent errors or hallucinations before release.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong command of English grammar with the ability to simplify complex concepts clearly.
• Basic knowledge of how large language models like GPT or Claude operate.
• Capacity to comprehend technical documentation and machinery specifications without feeling overwhelmed.
• Highly organized with meticulous version tracking of prompts.
