Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position located in Lagos entails supporting daily logistics operations. The Junior Operations Support specialist will assist in shipment coordination, track delivery schedules, and partake in route planning and dispatch management. Key duties include monitoring order statuses, maintaining internal operational systems, generating routine reports, and liaising with drivers, partners, and customers to solve operational issues expeditiously.
Key Responsibilities
- Support coordination of daily logistics activities including shipment tracking and dispatch planning.
- Update and manage internal logistics and order tracking systems.
- Prepare fundamental operational reports to assist management in decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, external partners, and customers to promptly address inquiries and resolve challenges.
- Escalate complex operational problems to higher management when necessary.
- Assist with process enhancements to improve logistics operations and achieve higher efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, service-level agreements, and operational standards.
- Collaborate closely with operations management and customer service teams to maintain seamless operational workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient operational support and management skills within logistics environments.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or courier sectors is advantageous.
- Minimum of basic educational qualification.
Additional Details
- Work setting: Blue-collar position, fully on-site.
- Working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time.
- Monthly remuneration: Between 100,000 and 120,000 Nigerian Naira.
