Junior Java Developer (Managed Services)

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous Junior Java Developer to become an integral part of our development team. This role involves supporting the design, creation, and upkeep of Java-based applications while adopting industry best practices and contributing actively to team initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the architecture, coding, and ongoing maintenance of Java applications.
• Produce clean, efficient, and thoroughly documented software code.
• Engage in code reviews and debugging processes.
• Work collaboratively with senior developers, quality assurance teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Support all stages of application testing, deployment, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges.
• Continuously learn and integrate new tools, technologies, and frameworks into workflows.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Fundamental knowledge of Java programming language.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Basic comprehension of SQL and relational database systems.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Desired Additional Skills

• Experience working with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Hibernate.
• Knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to Git and other version control tools.
• Basic awareness of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
