Job description
Job Overview
This role involves maintaining the appearance and operational condition of various branches within the region, requiring coordination with branch managers and supervisors to ensure upkeep standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all branch locations maintain an appealing and functional environment consistent with company standards.
- Communicate regularly with Branch Managers and Store Team Leaders to perform routine daily and weekly facilities inspections across the region.
- Conduct generator tests, monitoring and maintaining adequate fuel levels at all times to ensure backup power availability.
- Identify and report any water mains leaks, performing minor repairs when feasible to prevent damage and maintain facilities.
- Collaborate closely with the regional project manager on minor refurbishments, upgrades, and new store setups to support smooth project implementation.
- Utilize basic skills in handling power and general tools safely and effectively for maintenance tasks.
- Manage administrative duties related to scheduling and monitoring regular servicing of equipment such as air conditioning units and cleaning services to maintain optimal operation.
- Maintain all types of air conditioning systems and extractors to ensure proper function and comfort within branch premises.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license to support travel between multiple locations as required.
- General knowledge of building maintenance encompassing electrical, plumbing, painting, ceiling repairs, generator operation, and air conditioning systems.
- Basic management capabilities to coordinate maintenance efforts and liaise with various stakeholders.
