Job Overview

This position aims to deliver an exceptional customer experience at Augustus Gelatery by greeting patrons enthusiastically and maintaining store standards. The role includes scooping gelato, managing customer transactions, and ensuring overall store cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers warmly upon their arrival.
• Scoop gelato and handle sales transactions efficiently.
• Keep the shop tidy by cleaning tables, cabinet glass, walkways, and benches regularly.
• Restock cupboard items and gelato cabinets as needed.
• Process orders from delivery partners such as UberEats, Menulog, and Doordash.
• Understand and communicate allergen information accurately by referring to official disclaimers.
• Escalate any customer complaints to supervisors while expressing sincere apologies.
• Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, tile washing, dishwashing, bin maintenance, and replenishing drink fridge water bottles.
• Adhere carefully to opening and closing procedures to maintain smooth store operation.

Additional Information

Compensation: Hourly wages range between $13.90 and $34.76.
