About the Role

We are collaborating with a prominent specialist engineering firm seeking a Junior Estimator to join their team in Bradford. This role is ideally suited for individuals aspiring to begin a career in estimating, offering hands-on learning opportunities from seasoned professionals to develop both technical and commercial expertise.

Job Responsibilities

The Junior Estimator will assist in preparing quotations by interpreting technical specifications and drawings, understanding client needs, and utilizing product selection software to estimate custom equipment. Support will also be provided to Sales and Project Management teams by addressing technical inquiries.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate may be a recent graduate or someone initiating their engineering career. While prior expertise is not mandatory, candidates should demonstrate:

• A strong foundation in mathematics and science along with an enthusiasm for engineering
• Proficient verbal and written communication abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to producing precise work
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of collaborating effectively, managing shifting priorities, and adhering to deadlines
• Enthusiasm to learn and participate in further training

Experience or formal qualifications related to engineering, estimating, or design are advantageous but not required.
