  • Manage accounts receivable by allocating customer payments, updating records, following up on outstanding balances, and assisting with reconciliations.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in coordination with the Finance Manager.
  • Maintain petty cash records, verify receipt authenticity, approve requests, and reconcile balances appropriately.
  • Monitor cash deposits and card settlements for discrepancies and delays, ensuring proper cash handling and control compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing reconciliations, schedules, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset tracking, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Compile regular financial reports verifying accuracy against accounting data.
  • Assist with VAT documentation, invoice verification, return preparation, and respond to tax audit requests under supervision.
  • Coordinate with operational teams to resolve documentation and transaction discrepancies promptly.
  • Adhere to accounting policies, approval thresholds, and confidentiality safeguards; escalate errors or control issues immediately.
  • Contribute to process improvements in document management, reconciliation approaches, and related areas based on Finance Manager’s guidance.

Candidate Profile

  • Holder of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Between zero to two years of accounting experience; fresh graduates with pertinent internships or practical exposure are welcome.
  • Proficient understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals, double-entry accounting, and reconciliation practices.
  • Competent in Excel, including the use of formulas, lookup functions, and pivot tables, along with familiarity with accounting software.
  • Keen attention to detail coupled with numerical precision, solid organizational skills, and reliable task completion.
  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken English for cross-department collaboration.
  • Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, retail, POS systems, or delivery platform operations is preferred.
