Job description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced JBoss Administrator to join our team in Chennai. This role demands strong expertise in JBoss and Linux administration, along with experience in middleware platforms and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer JBoss EAP and WebSphere Application Servers.
- Perform middleware monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimize performance.
- Configure and integrate IBM HTTP Server (IHS) with middleware solutions.
- Utilize DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI for efficient deployment.
- Manage source code repositories using GitLab and Bitbucket.
- Leverage basic AWS services including EC2, S3, CloudWatch, VPC, and Systems Manager.
- Drive infrastructure automation using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Support Linux system administration tasks, including installation, patching, LVM management, and scripting.
- Develop scripts with Bash, Shell, Ansible, or PowerShell to automate routine operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in JBoss administration and Linux system management.
- Solid understanding of middleware platforms and application servers.
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and tools.
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks and scripting languages.
