Role Overview

This position is for a Java Lead based in Noida, working in a hybrid mode with shifts from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST. Candidates must be available to join immediately or within 15 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and steer enterprise-grade application architecture using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to ensure scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Make strategic technical choices for application modernization, framework selection, and cloud-native adoption.
• Design distributed systems, microservices platforms, and API ecosystems aligned with business objectives.
• Set engineering standards, governance protocols, reusable frameworks, and secure development practices across teams.
• Lead engineering teams and coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Implement non-functional requirements including scalability, observability, security, and disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct architecture reviews and lead modernization initiatives to build future-proof applications.
• Create enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures using appropriate messaging and event-streaming tools.
• Work closely with enterprise architects and leadership to align technical efforts with organizational strategies.
• Promote DevOps methodologies, CI/CD automation, cloud-native engineering, and containerization.
• Identify architectural risks and gaps proactively, and develop mitigation approaches to maintain platform stability.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proficient with Java 8 and above.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Backend Unit Testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Deep knowledge of Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Expertise in multithreading, concurrency, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with Hibernate ORM, Kafka messaging system, GitHub for version control, and Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with software design principles and security technologies including Spring Boot and Spring Security with JWT.
