We are a software consulting company based in Singapore currently seeking a talented Java Developer to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain critical systems ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Maintain a strong commitment to producing flawless, high-quality code with a proactive approach.
• Take full ownership of assigned modules from development through to delivery, including activities related to Continuous Integration, automation for testing and deployment, alongside contributing to core product code.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver products that meet or exceed expectations.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident as no visa sponsorship is available.
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in application development.
• Strong server-side programming skills in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, AWS cloud services, event-driven systems, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, and front-end frameworks such as Vue/VueJS is advantageous.
• Proficient in building RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Solid understanding of SQL queries and database management using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with software development in agile environments.
• Ability to design, document, and implement efficient and secure API endpoints.
• Implement best practices for security and data protection in applications.
• Lead technical and architectural designs emphasizing maintainability, security, and performance.
• Conduct thorough code reviews ensuring quality standards are upheld.
• Excellent written communication skills for clear and concise documentation.
• Capable of working independently by managing timelines, taking ownership, and communicating effectively.
