Janitorial Servicer A

Position Overview

Seeking a dedicated Janitorial Servicer to manage waste removal, recycling, and sanitation tasks at all Crayola facilities in the Lehigh Valley area, based in Easton, PA. Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform continuous cleaning and disinfection duties throughout all Crayola locations, focusing on high-contact areas, cafeteria tables and chairs, restrooms—including showers, sinks, toilets, urinals, counters, mirrors, partitions, and vents.
• Handle waste removal from all areas of the facilities efficiently and responsibly.
• Clean and maintain all types of floor surfaces using wet and dry methods including mopping and vacuuming. Dust furniture, walls, and perform high-level dusting along with cleaning accessible internal and external windows and office equipment.
• Keep walkways and pathways safe and clear during adverse weather conditions.
• Demonstrate flexibility by training Crayola employees on recycling programs and landfill-free initiatives and actively contribute to team efforts to enhance environmental sustainability.
• Adhere strictly to federal and state hazardous waste regulations, including correct storage, labeling, and handling procedures. Be knowledgeable of Crayola’s Emergency Action Procedures for spills or leaks.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to work at various facilities or shifts as required.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions accurately with minimal oversight.
• Successful completion of Company Bloodborne Pathogen training is mandatory.
• Physical abilities include frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, hand use for operations and reaching. Occasionally must lift or move objects up to 50 pounds and be capable of climbing ladders.
