Job Summary

We are seeking a Janitorial Porter to join our dynamic and rapidly growing janitorial services team at our facility located at 1 Facilities Drive, Grambling, LA. This part-time, onsite role is perfect for individuals eager to develop a career in a fast-paced environment with potential leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cleaning services with consistent customer interaction, prioritizing daily operational needs.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and promptly address customer requests while fulfilling all janitorial duties.
• Possess broad knowledge of janitorial and cleaning techniques and processes.
• Exhibit strong customer service aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Capable of lifting and moving items up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to walk frequently throughout the facility during entire shifts.
• Must be able to stand and walk for periods of 10 to 12 hours.
• Competent in following detailed and written instructions.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, maintenance procedures, and chemical safety documentation, primarily in English (Spanish documentation provided where applicable).
• Effective communication skills for working with internal and external customers.
• Use of KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software on personal devices is required for attendance and training compliance; cell phone reimbursement provided per local regulations.

Shifts and Compensation

Starting pay ranges from $10.00 to $11.01 per hour.
Available shift: 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
