Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated full-time Floor Technicians to join our crew in Prattville, AL. This permanent role offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $16.00. The available shifts are early mornings from 5 AM to 10 AM or 6 AM to 11 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various floor care operations including spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, stripping and waxing, scrubbing and recoating, sealing and grouting within assigned areas.
• Clean and restore carpeted and hard floor surfaces using industry-standard equipment and chemicals.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and stairways to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Relocate heavy furniture and objects as needed with adherence to safe handling procedures to avoid injury.
• Maintain tidiness and organization of janitorial supply closets.
• Prepare and use cleaning chemicals following manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure all building doors and windows are properly secured after shifts.
• Identify and report repairs, safety concerns, or additional service needs to supervisors promptly.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as directed.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Preferably, possess at least one year of prior floor care experience.
• Capability to lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds and carry objects between 15 and 25 pounds regularly.
• Ability to perform physical tasks that include bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below waist and overhead.
• Manual dexterity and coordination in hands, wrists, eyes, and feet necessary for operating cleaning machinery and tools.
• Capability to safely climb ladders and gangways without restrictions.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating manuals, and chemical handling instructions, commonly in English, with provisions for Spanish where applicable.

Technology and Tools

Use of KBSPresence mobile app is required for tracking work hours, attendance, and training completions. Cell phone reimbursement applies under local laws when using personal devices for work-related functions.
