Job Details

• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, mornings or afternoons
• Compensation: $15 per hour, paid weekly
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license
• Location: Charleston, TN

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain floor cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming various surfaces
• Utilize chemical cleaners and power equipment carefully to avoid damage to floors and fixtures
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrances to a high standard
• Empty trash receptacles properly and operate compactors when required
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with suitable products and equipment
• Perform spot cleaning of carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing as needed
• Restock paper and sanitary supplies regularly
• Follow detailed housekeeping schedules to ensure comprehensive cleaning
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machines such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to meet client and company standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or a minimum of six months’ janitorial experience
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles
• Knowledge of custodial best practices and commercial cleaning protocols
• Skills in floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is an advantage
