Job Description

• Monday through Friday shifts, morning or afternoon
• Full-time position
• Compensation at $15 per hour
• Valid driver's license required
• Weekly paycheck

As a Janitor, you will be responsible for comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of specified areas within one or multiple commercial facilities. Tasks may vary based on client needs, so flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean all types of floor surfaces using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Use cleaning chemicals and power equipment following safety protocols to avoid damage
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, conference rooms, hallways, and building entrances
• Empty trash bins and handle proper disposal, including usage of compactors when applicable
• Clean glass surfaces like windows, partitions, and mirrors with suitable materials and tools
• Spot clean carpets and support carpet extraction and shampooing processes
• Restock paper goods and sanitary items regularly
• Adhere to the established housekeeping schedule
• Operate heavy cleaning machines such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers as needed
• Perform additional duties as designated meeting customer or contractual requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or minimum six months experience in janitorial work
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions precisely

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and custodial standards
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facility maintenance
