Job Description

We are looking for a Janitor responsible for comprehensive cleaning and upkeep within assigned buildings or client sites. The role requires flexibility to perform various janitorial duties as specified by the client.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This position offers a wage of $12 per hour for shifts from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep all floor surfaces clean by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment carefully to avoid damage to floors or property.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrance areas.
• Dispose of trash properly, utilizing compactors when needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with the correct cleaning tools and agents.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with deeper carpet cleaning such as shampooing and extraction.
• Restock paper products and sanitary supplies in appropriate areas.
• Adhere to established housekeeping schedules.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers as required.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to satisfy client or scope requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months experience in janitorial services.
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles.
• Knowledge of industry-standard custodial practices.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing.
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous.
