Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all types of floor surfaces through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Adhere to guidelines when using chemical cleaners and powered cleaning tools to avoid damaging floors and other property.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrance ways.
• Properly empty trash receptacles and utilize compactors when necessary for waste disposal.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using suitable cleaning agents and equipment.
• Perform spot cleaning on carpets and assist with carpet shampooing and extraction procedures.
• Restock paper goods and sanitary supplies as needed.
• Follow a scheduled housekeeping routine diligently.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Execute other duties as assigned based on customer needs and scope of work.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or at least six months of experience working in janitorial services.
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail when performing cleaning tasks.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Previous employment in cleaning or janitorial positions.
• Knowledge of commercial custodial methods and cleaning standards.
• Understanding of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous.

Additional Information

This position offers an hourly wage of $12 and follows a schedule of 35 hours weekly, Monday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
