Job Role

We are seeking a Janitor responsible for carrying out general cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas within a building or across multiple client locations. Responsibilities and duties may vary, so flexibility to perform tasks based on client requirements is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Adhere to protocols when using chemical cleaners and powered equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entryways.
• Dispose of trash correctly, including operating trash compactors when necessary.
• Clean windows, glass dividers, and mirrors with appropriate supplies and tools.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing.
• Restock paper products and sanitary items as needed.
• Follow a structured housekeeping schedule.
• Use heavy-duty cleaning machines such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers on occasion.
• Perform additional tasks as specified to meet client or job requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months experience in a janitorial role.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Skills

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of custodial best practices and commercial cleaning standards.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing.
• Background in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance is beneficial.

Additional Information

• Compensation is $12 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, totaling 35 hours per week.
• Weekly payment.
