Job Summary

We are seeking a Janitor responsible for comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of designated areas within one or more client premises. Responsibilities can vary and require flexibility to meet client-specific requirements.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time schedule
• Hourly pay ranging from $11.00 to $12.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all types of flooring surfaces through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Operate chemical cleaners and power cleaning equipment carefully to avoid damaging floors and property
• Clean and upkeep restrooms, conference rooms, hallways, and entry areas
• Empty trash receptacles correctly and use compactors when appropriate
• Clean windows, glass dividers, and mirrors with suitable tools and cleaners
• Perform spot cleaning on carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing tasks
• Restock paper goods and sanitary supplies as needed
• Adhere to the housekeeping schedule diligently
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Complete other related tasks as assigned depending on work scope and client requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial work experience
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
• Keen attention to detail
• Capability to follow detailed instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles
• Knowledge of custodial techniques and standards used in commercial cleaning
• Familiarity with floor care methods such as buffing and waxing
• Experience with industrial or facilities cleaning and maintenance
