About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced professional skilled in Splunk technologies based in Chennai. The position requires immediate joining and the interview will be conducted virtually on 22nd August 2026. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience in Splunk architecture, administration, and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Splunk knowledge objects including reports, alerts, and dashboards.
- Collaborate on technical and functional specifications to implement Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) solutions.
- Stay updated with platform enhancements and new features following version upgrades.
- Integrate Splunk with third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operability.
Required Skills and Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Splunk IT Service Intelligence, including KPIs, services, and correlation searches.
- Expertise in Splunk architecture and administration such as indexing, clustering, deployment servers, and forwarders.
- Proficiency in Search Processing Language (SPL) for query writing, data analysis, dashboard creation, and alert optimization.
- Experience with Splunk Observability Cloud, AIOps/NEAP policy management including application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, event policies, and noise reduction.
- Capability in performance tuning and troubleshooting of Splunk including search optimization, indexing issues, license management, and incident handling.
- Skilled in installation and configuration of Splunk agents on Heavy Forwarders (HFs), Universal Forwarders (UFs), Deployment Servers (DS), and other components across Unix and Windows platforms.
- Ability to manage Splunk configuration files and add-ons such as DB Connect and ServiceNow integration.
- Strong background in backend configuration and Splunk development activities.
