Role Summary
The IT Team Leader position is a full-time, on-site role based in Lusail. This leadership role is responsible for managing daily IT operations and meeting the technological requirements of the company. Key duties include supervising the IT support team, distributing assignments, and tracking performance to guarantee efficient problem resolution. The leader also manages hardware and software upkeep, ensures system updates are applied, maintains network stability and security, and tackles complex technical issues, escalating them when necessary. Collaboration with different departments is essential to enhance systems, processes, and overall user experience while contributing to planning and executing IT projects aligned with company goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in IT systems, networking, and software applications.
- Proficiency in providing technical support and resolving infrastructure and user issues efficiently.
- Proven track record of managing and leading IT teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and mentor team members.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects under time constraints.
- Possession of a relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience with IT project management, proper documentation, and adherence to best practices is preferred.
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and data protection regulations is a plus.
