Job Responsibilities

• Manage the everyday operation and upkeep of the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including systems, hardware, software, and network components.
• Deliver technical assistance to hotel staff and leadership as needed.
• Ensure uninterrupted functioning of critical hotel systems such as PMS, POS, IPTV, Wi-Fi, telephony, CCTV, and access control.
• Regularly monitor system health and promptly resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Liaise with external vendors and service personnel for system installations, updates, and routine maintenance.
• Administer user accounts, manage permissions, and uphold data security policies.
• Conduct system backups frequently and assist with disaster recovery plans.
• Support the deployment of new technology and IT initiatives aimed at enhancing operational workflows.
• Keep accurate records of IT assets and maintain the inventory.
• Educate employees on the proper usage of the hotel’s technological tools and applications.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity protocols and data privacy regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the IT field, preferably in a hospitality setting, with strong communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 suite, networking concepts, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with hospitality software such as Opera PMS, Micros POS, IPTV systems, CCTV, and access control solutions is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Professional IT certifications like Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA are beneficial but not mandatory.
