IT Project Manager - Securities, Custody & Fund Administration

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead extensive technology and transformation initiatives within Securities, Custody, Fund Administration, and Investment Operations domains. The role involves the complete management of implementation projects for securities and investment operations platforms, acting as the driving force among business units, technology teams, vendors, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee comprehensive transformation projects in Securities, Custody, Fund Administration, and Investment Operations.
• Manage all aspects of project delivery including scope, timelines, budgets, risk assessment, dependencies, and final deliverables.
• Drive the implementation and integration of various securities and investment operations platforms.
• Coordinate collection of business requirements, analyze product gaps, design solutions, and oversee integration and data migration processes.
• Handle complex transformation programs involving multiple vendors and technology partners.
• Engage regularly with senior business and technology stakeholders, providing updates on project progress.
• Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and manage change requests effectively.
• Ensure the completion of projects in line with quality, security, operational, and regulatory standards.
• Lead governance activities including project reporting, steering committee meetings, and executive communications.
• Direct cross-functional teams through all project phases: planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational transition.

• Charles River
• BlackRock Aladdin
• Temenos Wealth
• FNZ

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in banking technology and transformation;
• At least 8 years leading large-scale implementations in Securities, Custody, Fund Administration, or Investment Operations platforms;
• Proven track record in managing complex multi-vendor transformation programs;
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior business and technology leadership;
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required;
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Enterprise Project and Program Management;
• Experience in platform transformations, product gap analysis, solution architecture, systems integration, and data migration;
• Excellent capabilities in vendor management, budget oversight, risk mitigation, scheduling, and handling change requests;
• Outstanding leadership, communication, analytical skills, and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
