Role Location and Contract

This position is based in Otahuhu, Auckland, with a full-time, permanent contract.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Inventory Support team member to join DB Breweries' Supply Chain team. This role entails acting as the crucial interface between physical stock and system records, ensuring inventory accuracy throughout our warehouse network to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory reconciliations regularly.
• Manage stock returns and process various inventory transactions.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies within inventory records and stock issues.
• Monitor stock rotation processes and identify risks related to aged or near-expiry stock.
• Maintain precise inventory records and carry out necessary stock adjustments.
• Investigate unidentified stock items, including rogue pallets.
• Support reports on inventory damages and losses.
• Contribute actively to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and sustain effective working relationships with operational teams to enhance inventory accuracy and performance.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
• Good understanding of inventory procedures such as cycle counting, reconciliation, and stock rotation.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems like WMS, SAP, or ERP.
• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to detect inventory inconsistencies and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong organizational capabilities to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills and a cooperative working approach.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement combined with adherence to safe work practices.
