Job description
Position Overview
Located in the Waitemata Head Office in Auckland, New Zealand, this permanent full-time role focuses on leading the development and launch of new product ideas and innovations. As the Innovation Projects Lead reporting to the Senior CMI & Innovation Manager, you will direct the entire innovation process, ensuring successful delivery in collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Commercial teams. Your role includes overseeing project schedules, managing governance and documentation, and maintaining stakeholder alignment throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and promote the complete innovation lifecycle from ideation to market launch.
- Coordinate cross-departmental project timelines and collaborative efforts.
- Lead project meetings and foster strong stakeholder engagement.
- Handle governance processes, including documentation, approvals, and artwork management.
- Monitor project progress and maintain reporting on innovation outcomes.
- Contribute to broader innovation and commercial strategies as necessary.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Prior experience in project coordination, management, or a related capacity.
- Outstanding organizational abilities and proficient stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for building productive relationships.
- Keen attention to detail and capacity to juggle multiple concurrent priorities effectively.
