Inventory Manager

Job Overview

M/s Sprinkle Sundaes seeks a dedicated Inventory Manager to ensure flawless inventory control across its outlets. This role demands meticulous planning to prevent any stock-outs of essential products or packing materials caused by poor inventory forecasting or dispatch delays.

Key Responsibilities & Performance Indicators

• Maintain 100% timely and precise recording in PetPooja Inventory Software for purchase, inward, transfers, consumption, wastage, and closing stock.
• Manage complete stock for raw materials including ice cream, premix, dairy products, fruits, toppings, cones, cups, packaging, and cleaning materials.
• Set and monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder levels for every inventory item to avoid stock-outs.
• Collect and process outlet requirements/indents effectively and fulfill approved demands promptly.
• Coordinate packing, issuing, and dispatch of materials outlet-wise and manage company vehicle routing and delivery logistics.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain timely quotations, place orders, ensure availability, and follow up on deliveries, securing required materials punctually.
• Verify vendor rates against historical and approved rates; reject any unauthorized price increases or discrepancies.
• Ensure appropriate storage conditions—temperature, hygiene, labeling, segregation—for frozen, chilled, and dry products.
• Enforce FIFO/FEFO methods strictly and promptly report near-expiry items to outlets and management.
• Maintain at least 98% accuracy between physical stock and PetPooja system records, investigating and reporting variances diligently.
• Engage in regular coordination with outlet managers to resolve issues related to shortages, overstock, slow-moving items, and urgent requests.

Reporting & Reviews

Maintain daily records tracking outlet-wise requirements and dispatches. Provide weekly reports to management encompassing Opening Stock, Purchases, Transfers/Dispatches, Wastage, Closing Stock, Near Expiry items, and Stock Variance analyses. Monthly evaluations will emphasize PetPooja accuracy, stock-out occurrences, fulfillment rates, purchase costs, wastage/expiry management, physical stock variances, and any dispatch delays.
