About the Role
Truemeds is seeking an Inventory Lead based in Mumbai's Vikhroli warehouse to oversee day-to-day inventory management, ensuring precise stock movement, storage, and record accuracy within the warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily inventory tasks, maintaining accurate stock availability.
- Supervise inward goods receipt, storage (put-away, racking), picking, and stock transfers.
- Perform routine physical inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Detect and address issues such as stock inconsistencies, shortages, or surpluses.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records and system entries.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse, operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth logistics.
- Implement and enforce proper FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expired First Out) inventory management practices with organized product storage.
- Monitor and handle damaged, expired, misplaced, and blocked inventory items.
- Assist in stock audits and reconciliation processes.
- Lead and mentor the inventory team to complete daily objectives punctually.
- Generate and submit daily inventory reports to management.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with established company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 4 years of solid experience in inventory or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of stock control and warehouse procedures.
- Proficiency with Excel and inventory management software tools.
- Effective communication and team coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail with capability to spot discrepancies.
- Competency in team leadership and managing daily operational demands.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in e-commerce, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or logistics warehouse environments.
