Logistics Executive

Role Summary

The Logistics Executive is entrusted with overseeing seamless last-mile operations at the designated hub. This involves ensuring punctual deliveries, managing the rider team effectively, performing precise daily cash reconciliations, and continuously tracking operational performance. The position demands operational rigor, adept people management, and proficiency in data reporting and analytical tasks.

Primary Job Duties

• Handle comprehensive last-mile delivery operations for the hub, including dispatch timely execution and strategic route planning.
• Supervise daily delivery workflows ensuring smooth completion of schedules.
• Lead and coordinate the delivery rider team, regularly assessing performance and productivity.
• Address any operational challenges on the ground promptly.
• Offer consistent guidance and feedback while upholding team discipline.
• Manage daily cash collections from riders and ensure exact cash reconciliation aligned with company protocols.
• Maintain thorough documentation of cash handling as per organizational standards.
• Analyze delivery performance metrics on daily, weekly, and monthly intervals, paying special attention to Return-to-Origin (RTO) rates and critical operational KPIs.
• Identify areas needing improvement and implement corrective strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or senior operations focusing on last-mile delivery.
• Demonstrated capability in managing delivery riders and executing cash reconciliation procedures.
• Strong familiarity with local urban routes and surrounding regions.
• Proven experience with logistics-related performance reporting across various timeframes.
• Proficient user of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication abilities, problem-solving aptitude, and team leadership skills.
