Job description
Role Overview
The Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive analysis, coordination, and control over inventory, accountable property, and asset management activities. This includes managing inventory data within the SAP system at site level and working closely with related business areas relying on accurate inventory and data information.
This position requires either U.S. citizenship holding TS/SCI clearance or Australian citizenship capable of obtaining the necessary security clearance.
Core Duties
- Participate in the yearly Accountable Property Audit process.
- Manage inventory functions across all stores including creating material and equipment master records within SAP.
- Support the Inventory Management Team to optimize inventory control processes.
- Conduct various inventory transactions in the Logistics Management System (SAP).
- Prepare and manage documentation required for stocktaking activities as per assigned responsibilities.
- Perform physical warehouse stock takes, certify and reconcile stock results accurately.
- Analyze inventory data and investigate discrepancies involving stock levels, transaction records, and serial numbers.
- Assist staff in using logistics data inquiry and retrieval systems proficiently.
- Embody company values and ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in inventory management roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP MM (Materials Management) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
- Vocational or tertiary qualifications in logistics or business-related fields.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Knowledge and training in Six Sigma or process development methodologies.
- Degree in Data Analytics.
Work Requirements and Conditions
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Physical activity includes standing, frequent kneeling, carrying up to 10 kilograms.

- Compliance with site environmental, health and safety standards is mandatory.
- Perform work tasks safely and responsibly report unsafe conditions.
- Adhere continuously to safety procedures outlined in the company handbook.
