Role Overview
Situated at the Tauriko facility, the Inventory Coordinator is instrumental in guaranteeing the availability of products to fulfill demand. Collaborating closely with the Inventory Manager, you will manage supply flows and maintain inventory control systems through strategic analytical methods.
Key Duties
- Maintain precise inventory records, ensuring stock quantities are accurately updated in inventory management systems.
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies in inventory by performing reconciliations and stock adjustments as needed.
- Manage inventory transfers and stock movements to uphold correct stock data and support operational workflows.
- Perform routine cycle counts and conduct biannual stocktakes, identifying and resolving any variances.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Warehousing, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to enhance the availability of inventory and optimize stock control procedures.
- Contribute to reporting activities and champion continuous improvements in inventory control and related processes.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in coordinating inventory, supply chain, or logistics operations within a fast-moving setting.
- Proficient with ERP systems along with intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of warehousing, inventory control, and overall supply chain procedures.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude, underpinned by a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational competencies with an ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, paired with eagerness to learn and drive ongoing improvement.
- Previous exposure to manufacturing environments is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
