Inventory Associate

Overview and Key Responsibilities

The Inventory Associate will oversee the management of inventory flowing in and out of the warehouse and inventory room, ensuring precise documentation and prompt handling of spare parts.

• Organize and execute inventory orders, including handling surplus stock and liaising with central inventory for distribution centre (DC) dispatch and spare part logistics.
• Maintain real-time updates within Zoho software upon issuing spares, keep precise logs of defective components, and physically verify inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with the central inventory team to coordinate weekly spare parts requests and manage unscheduled demands.
• Accept faulty batteries at the workshop and ensure they are charged according to prescribed methods.
• Dispatch defective batteries to the Central warehouse for repair, adhering to the Yuzen process guidelines.
• Perform regular audit handshakes and self-inspections on batteries located at the workshop, recording the status of both operational and faulty units accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the inventory and workshop areas by following hygiene standards and standard operating procedures.
• Provide frequent updates on asset information, specifically regarding batteries and bikes, to the concerned departments.
