Internal Sales Second in Charge (2IC)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Internal Sales 2IC to join our team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This key leadership post blends internal sales duties with operational support and coordination of workshop activities, ensuring efficient branch performance and contributing to profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Manage counter sales and direct customer traffic with professionalism and speed.
• Accurately prepare quotes, process sales orders, and respond to customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with the external sales team to support major accounts and sales opportunities.
• Act as second in command, assisting the Branch Manager in everyday operational management.
• Oversee inventory including stock control and replenishment to maintain accuracy.
• Identify and suggest improvements to operational efficiency and customer service turnaround.
• Coordinate workshop activities and job prioritization for smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards within the workshop.

Experience and Skills Needed

• Prior internal sales or branch-based sales experience.
• Proven capability in supporting or leading teams in a dynamic setting.
• Strong organization and workflow management skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Competent with computers, particularly intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of hydraulic hoses and fittings is advantageous but not mandatory.
