Intermediate Planner (Urban Planning)

We are seeking an Intermediate Planner to join our collaborative and innovative Planning team located in Mt Eden, Auckland. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed planning and property assessments, including consent scoping and feasibility analyses.
• Develop Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEE) for resource consent applications.
• Engage effectively with clients, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
• Stay informed and compliant with current planning legislation and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in urban planning, with between 2 to 6 years’ experience in a regulatory or consultancy setting. Essential attributes include strong knowledge of the Resource Management Act and planning frameworks, excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidence in client and council interactions, and emerging project management proficiency. Membership or eligibility for membership of the New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI) is required.
